Geranium T-shirt

My newest project/product is tee shirts—geraniums, of course, which has sort of become my trademark. Screen printed with an original watercolor design by Mary Lou Peters. These tee shirts are made of the finest medium weight 100% cotton. Washing instructions: machine wash warm, tumble dry low. In a test, shrinkage is only about 5% in length, 0% in width and sleeves and no fading in design if washing instructions are followed.

Ladies style: scoop neck, short sleeves.

These shirts are available in S, M, L, XL, 1 curvy, 2 curvy, and 3 curvy. (Sorry! Small and curvey 3 are currently SOLD OUT. Please email me to be notified when these sizes are back in stock.) Curvy sizes are slightly flared at the hip to allow for tummy comfort. View size chart here.

These tee shirts, size chart, and shipping information may be viewed and purchased with your credit card via SHOPIFY on my newly designed website,

I’m taking a wonderful online class in oil painting. These are the paintings I’ve completed and  are for sale on my website. Keep watching my website for more paintings as they are finished.

Because this is such an odd time, I am finding lots of time to paint in my garden journal, and I’m loving it. On a warm summer day, it’s so relaxing to sit outside and paint in my garden. Here are a few of the pages I’ve done. These are sketchbook pages and will not be reproduced as cards or prints. If you are interested in buying the original watercolor piece, please contact me by email ( for size and price.

As you know by now, all of my classes for summer and fall have been cancelled due to the virus. Spending the winter months in Florida is out of the question for me. It’s just too risky. We’ll see what 2021 brings before I schedule any new classes. I miss my students and teaching terribly, but we know this won’t last forever. Fingers crossed!

My books make nice gifts for any occasion—each page is illustrated with my original watercolor paintings. These books are for sale on my website.

I enjoy interacting with readers of my Facebook posts on my page, Watercolor Paintings by Mary Lou Peters. I post nearly every day, either a brand new painting or a popular painting from the past.

My new Instagram account is fun—I’m learning lots of new things as I learn to navigate through this land of hashtags. You can follow me if you like at #maryloupeterspainter.

I’ve been re-connecting with my home and garden in this summer of isolation. It’s comforting to know that I’m safe here, and I’m feeding my soul having time to relax a bit. Of course I miss my family and friends, but I know this is only temporary.
