The owners of Cork This! Winery in Montgomery, Texas, wanted a colorful, funky site to celebrate their new business. Visitors to Cork This! can bottle and custom label their own wine or choose from an assortment of fun labels!

The Mackinac Wedding Guide offers a catalog of services for those planning a wedding on the island. Individual services are highlighted with custom slideshows.

Rosemary Gould developed a new website with us this year. She showcases her beautiful art boxes and books and creates email marketing campaigns to announce workshops and classes.

Coming soon! This summer we will load a new website for Northwest Design Group in Petoskey, Michigan. They will use this site to market their wide variety of engineering services.

Coming soon! Newco Industries in Litchfield, Michigan will use their new website to inform prospective clients about their metal fabricating services and quality control methods.

Michigan Polymer Reclaim, Inc., located in St. John's, Michigan, launched a website to educate visitors about recycling options for polymer products and their unique custom recycling processes.

Benjamin of Mackinac Island was looking for a way to showcase their unique collection of vintage postcards and books about Mackinac history by Robert E. Benjamin. Mintaka Design set up an ecommerce solution for selling their postcards and books.

Maryanke Tour & Travel, Inc. needed a website to share information about domestic and international tours. Mintaka Design created a site to easily browse upcoming tours and also provided stock photographs to highlight locations around the world.

The Lake Charlevoix Association worked with Mintaka Design on a new, exciting updated design for their website to organize information for LCA members and visitors to Lake Charlevoix.

Village Inn

The Village Inn restaurants, lodging and shopping businesses developed websites with a consistent integrated image to market their many services to northern Michigan residents and visitors.

Allied EMS Systems, Inc.

Increased communication with the community and within the organization was the goal of the Allied EMS Systems, Inc. web project. The site highlights community activities, provides staff and education schedules, promotes the Allied Plus subscription program, and describes the mission of this important nonprofit organization.

LV2 Partners, LLC, a Midwest-based equity investment and strategic management firm, launched a site this spring. This site highlights services offered by LV2 Partners designed to enhance business opportunities of its portfolio companies.

Mackinac College

This Mackinac College site gives tribute to a liberal arts college located on Mackinac from 1966-1970. It offers extensive photographs and an opening slideshow which showcases the legacy of the college.

Windermere Hotel launched a newly designed website highlighting the beauty of this historic Mackinac hotel.

Wawashkamo Golf Club on Mackinac Island revamped their website to provide more content for members and to promote the club to the public.

Market Street Inn

Market Street Inn recently launched a new site with beautiful photographs in a slideshow to highlight the special qualities of this cozy bed and breakfast on Mackinac Island.

Harbor Springs Public Schools' new website features lots of information of interest to students, teachers and community members. Each school within the system has its own website with connections to district level content. According to superintendent Dr. David Larson, "we believe it to be one of the best school websites in the state!"

Mackinac Horsemen's Association

Mintaka Design created and maintains the Mackinac Island Horsemen's Association website. This nonprofit promotes and preserves the unique horse culture on Mackinac Island. The site attracts members and donations for their cause and educates 4H students on equine issues.

Mackinac Lapidary

Mackinac Lapidary's site showcases the custom jewelry of owner Frank Bloswick, Jr.

 

Mustang Lounge

The Mustang Lounge on Mackinac Island recently underwent a major renovation. Their new website featured weekly photos of the beloved local bar as it was restored.

Pontiac Lodge

Pontiac Lodge on Mackinac Island showcases their year-round accommodations with slideshows and diagrams. This site is integrated with their multiple restaurant and retail businesses.

Mary Lou Peters

Mary Lou Peters showcases her beautiful watercolors on a website divided into various galleries. She has a downloadable order form for prints and publications.

The website of Jim Roberts Enterprises informs prospective clients about services offered and the wealth of experience behind the expertise of the business.

Covington Planter requested an updated site to communicate the reliability of their planter products and the stability of this over 100 year old company.

Murray Realty, LC

Murray Realty, L.C. requested a website with an emphasis on community to showcase its northern Michigan real estate listings.

Keystone Real Estate

Keystone Real Estate showcases their listings and ties into the MLS system through their website. They make use of the latest technology to promote the website and to draw prospects to the latest real estate offerings.

Beautiful and historic Ste. Anne's Church on Mackinac Island uses its new website to communicate services offered and tell the unique history of this 300 year parish.

Lakefront Contracting

Lakefront Contracting provides prospective clients with information about the quality of their homebuilding through their informational website.

The Peaceful Journey, End-of-Life website introduces health professionals and other visitors to the research and services of Reinette Murray, MSN, RN on issues related to managing the end of life process.

In 2006 musician Pete Kehoe wanted an updated look to reflect his new career direction in scoring and production. We redesigned his site completely with new graphics, layout and photographs.

 


Trailing for Triumph
is a new foundation committed to raising funds for breast cancer research. Mintaka Design volunteered to design this site to promote their annual horseback fundraising event. Help us support this worthy cause!

Cole Planter Company in Albany, Georgia requested a new, more vital presence on the web to sell their line of farm implements. This company has been in business since 1900 and is still keeping up with the times!

Cindy's Riding Stable on Mackinac Island wanted their first presence on the web to reflect their relaxed, fun business of providing riding horses to island visitors. We followed the western theme reflected in other marketing materials.

Michigan Outdoor Advertising requested a nostalgic theme using antique postcards to help bring visitors back to the days of enjoyable car travel with fun, informative billboards along the way. Their site is linked with MapQuest to give prospective clients exact locations of available billboards.

 

We created this website as a personal reminder of a recent trip to China. By integrating our journals and paring down our inventory of 4,000 digital photos to a manageable number, we were able to use the web to share our experiences with friends and family!

Metivier Inn

Metivier Inn's new website features beautiful photographs in an interactive photo gallery, rate charts, and a redesign of their logo.

Artist Richard Wolfgang's new website captures his unique painting style. The opening page features a slideshow of his work and gallery, Paintings by Wolfgang, on Mackinac Island.

The non-profit organization, HANDY, Inc., communicates its mission; outlines its services; and recruits volunteers and donations through its new website. The organization helps children in the foster care system in Broward County, Florida.

Seabiscuit Café is one of Mackinac's newest restaurants. Visit their website to be tempted by their wonderful eclectic menu and to enjoy the ambience based on the Seabiscuit horse-racing theme.

Great Turtle Creations published their new website to promote their custom wedding stationery and materials featuring the art of Jeannie West.

North Woods Yoga

North Woods Yoga in Petoskey, Michigan promotes the classes and retreats lead by senior certified Iyengar yoga teacher, Mary Reilly. This popular yoga studio keeps its followers updated with quarterly newsletters created through their email marketing service.

Martin Petersen Fund for Historic Writing

The Martin Petersen Fund for Historical Writing site promotes a Mackinac Island Community Foundation Fund that seeks to encourage the study of history and historical writing. The site images used are from the Robert Benjamin collection of historic Mackinac Island postcards.

Kane Law Firm, P.C.

Kane Law Firm, P.C. of Colorado Springs wanted a professional site to highlight the expertise and community spirit of their attorneys.

Wings of Mackinac has a new updated website with many photos of butterflies featured in this beautiful conservatory. The site is a wonderful educational resource for those interested in lepidoptera.

Sunset Forest Association, a property owner's association on Mackinac Island, needed a site to communicate information to members and prospective buyers. It features maps, directories and information request forms.

Tim Bondy Physical Therapy

The Tim Bondy Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services website features information on services, programs, and products available at their three Petoskey and Harbor Springs area clinics. They recently requested a redesign to complement their new corporate logo.

Arts & Artists

The Arts & Artists web site showcases the work of northern Michigan artists in many media, as well as the galleries and organizations that promote their work.

Yankee Rebel Tavern

The Yankee Rebel Tavern website provides lots of valuable information about this popular Mackinac Island restaurant: special event menus, services offered, employment opportunities, and more.

Little Stone Church

Beautiful photos of Little Stone Church on Mackinac island plus information on its history and services showcase this historic congregation.

Resort Photography requested a redesign of the initial pages of their existing site. The beautiful wedding photographs and family portraits on the site showcase the artistry and technical expertise of the company's photographers.

The Mackinac Island Community Foundation and the Marlee Brown Community Arts Fund joined to present an exciting and high-visibility fundraising project for 2004. This website showcases the Turtles Around Town art that will be displayed and auctioned on Mackinac Island this summer. Proceeds benefit non-profit organizations on the Island.

Nicki Griffith's new art website showcases her beautiful paintings: delightful expressions of color and shape! She sought a simple and elegant design: one that would let the paintings speak for themselves.

Mackinac Island Yacht Club

The Mackinac Island Yacht Club worked with Mintaka Design to develop a website to highlight member activities and services of their organization. The site includes an interactive calendar updated by the Executive Committee as well as the club manager. Automatic e-mails can be generated as reminders of upcoming events on the calendar.

The Mackinac Island Community Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving and enriching life for residents and visitors of Mackinac Island. This site outlines the many giving opportunities available through the Foundation.

Kelly Dorman, owner of Backward Glances, was looking for an artistic site to showcase her beautiful hand-crafted beaded purses and reproduction Civil War era accessories.

John Manikoff's site features samples of his illustrations and fine art. We recently updated the look of his original site with a color and layout change.

OrrKids Bike Shop

The OrrKids Bike Shop site promotes group sales and attracts potential summer employees with an on-line application form.
