Beautiful and historic Ste. Anne's Church on Mackinac Island uses its website to communicate services offered and to tell the unique history of this 300 year old parish.

Trinity Episcopal Church on Mackinac Island started with a simple design to communicate church policies and integrate with the diocese's website.

Harbor Springs Public Schools' website features lots of information of interest to students, teachers and community members. Each school within the system updates its own website with connections to district level content. According to the superintendent who initially developed the site with us, "we believe it to be one of the best school websites in the state!"

This Mackinac College site gives tribute to a liberal arts college located on Mackinac from 1966-1970. It offers extensive photographs and an opening slideshow which showcases the legacy of the college.

The Village Inn in St. Ignace and their related Mackinac businesses developed websites with a consistent integrated image to market their many services to northern Michigan residents and visitors.

Horn's Bar, a hopping night scene on Mackinac Island, has a large following on its website. Visitors watch for new entertainment and enjoy the island webcam.

The Yankee Rebel Tavern website provides lots of valuable information about this popular Mackinac Island restaurant: special event menus, services offered, employment opportunities, and more. Prospective employees can apply online.

The Mustang Lounge on Mackinac Island recently underwent a major renovation. Their website featured weekly photos of the beloved local bar as it was restored. Visit their site to learn about upcoming entertainment.

Seabiscuit Café's website tempts you to choose your favorite entree from its wonderful eclectic menu and to enjoy the ambience based on the Seabiscuit horse-racing theme.

The owners of Cork This! Winery in Montgomery, Texas, wanted a colorful, funky site to celebrate their new business. Visitors to Cork This! can bottle and custom label their own wine or choose from an assortment of fun labels! The owners maintain a calendar of their in-house special events.

Main Street Inn & Suites on Mackinac Island needed a site to showcase the beautiful suites and convenient location on the island. Slideshows and descriptions give visitors a wonderful feel for this elegant hotel. They have integrated social media on their website through links to their Facebook business page.

Windermere Hotel launched a newly designed website highlighting the beauty of this historic Mackinac hotel. Check their best rates at a glance using their color coded rate chart.

Market Street Inn's website utilizes beautiful photographs in a slideshow to highlight the special qualities of this cozy bed and breakfast on Mackinac Island. The innkeeper keeps guests informed with her Island Notes section.

Pontiac Lodge on Mackinac Island showcases their year-round accommodations with slideshows and diagrams. This site is integrated with their multiple restaurant and retail businesses.

Metivier Inn's website features beautiful photographs in an interactive photo gallery, rate charts, and a redesign of their logo.

Birch Lodge & Motel in Trout Lake was struggling to communicate with their former web design company and asked Mintaka Design to take over their website and enhance it to include multiple pages. We added lots of new content and photos and improved the text. They maintain a very interesting blog about the area and their renovations on the historic lodge. We integrated the blog into the home page of the website.

Covington Planter needed a new site to communicate the reliability of their planter products and the stability of this over 100 year old company.

Cast Aluminum Solutions in Batavia, Illinois recently spun off from its parent company. Mintaka Design created a new logo with an "aluminum" look and developed a website to promote its new identity and highlight its custom cast-in products. Through product specs and case studies that are easily accessible to the visitor, CAS provides useful and educational content.

NEX Solutions in Litchfield, Michigan uses their new website to inform prospective clients about their metal fabricating services and quality control methods. A series of slideshows illustrate the wide range of fabrication services offered and the integrated quality systems in place. Congratulations to NEX on being one of the INC. 500!

Cole Planter Company in Albany, Georgia requested a new, more vital presence on the web to sell their line of farm implements. This company has been in business since 1900 and is still keeping up with the times!

The Mackinac Island Yacht Club worked with Mintaka Design to develop a website to highlight member activities and services of their organization. The site includes an interactive calendar updated by the Executive Committee as well as the club manager. Automatic e-mails can be generated as reminders of upcoming events on the calendar. Every club leader recognizes the value websites lend to improving member communications, member relationships, and member engagement.

Wawashkamo Golf Club on Mackinac Island revamped their website to provide more content for members and to promote the club to the public. Their site features a password protected member directory that is updated online by the staff.

Sunset Forest Association, a property owner's association on Mackinac Island, needed a site to communicate information to members and prospective property buyers. It features maps, directories and information request forms.

Mintaka Design created a website for the Friends of the Harbor Springs Area District Library. This nonprofit group is working hard to realize many local residents' dream of a vital and comprehensive community library in Harbor Springs. They use email marketing and their informative website to communicate with supporters and the public.

The Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity website communicates the many worth projects this organization undertakes and solicits donations online. The ReStore displays photos of products for sale and encourages volunteer participation.

The Mackinac Island Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving and enriching life for residents and visitors of Mackinac Island. This site outlines the many giving opportunities available through the Foundation. They periodically survey their visitors online to make sure their goals are on-track.

Mintaka Design created and maintains the Mackinac Island Horsemen's Association website. This nonprofit promotes and preserves the unique horse culture on Mackinac Island. The site attracts members and accepts online donations for their cause and educates 4H students on equine issues.

Trailing for Triumph is a foundation committed to raising funds for breast cancer research. Mintaka Design volunteered to design and maintain this site to promote their annual horseback fundraising event. Help us support this worthy cause!

The Mackinac Island Community Foundation and the Marlee Brown Community Arts Fund joined to present an exciting and high-visibility fundraising project for the island. This website showcases the Turtles Around Town art that was displayed and auctioned on Mackinac Island. Proceeds benefited nonprofit organizations on the Island.

The Martin Petersen Fund for Historical Writing site promotes a Mackinac Island Community Foundation Fund that seeks to encourage the study of history and historical writing. The site images used are from the Robert Benjamin collection of historic Mackinac Island postcards.

The Lake Charlevoix Association worked with Mintaka Design on a new, exciting updated design for their website to organize information for LCA members and visitors to Lake Charlevoix. Their webmaster used the design and is maintaining their site.

Increased communication with the community and within the organization was the goal of the Allied EMS Systems, Inc. web project. The site highlights community activities, provides staff and education schedules, promotes the Allied Plus subscription program, and describes the mission of this important nonprofit organization. The company uses their "intranet" section for employee schedules, training materials and board information.

Keystone Real Estate highlights featured listings and ties into the MLS system through their website. They make use of the latest technology to promote the website and to draw prospects to the latest real estate offerings.

Frank Bloswick, Jr. Designs launched in December 2010. We photographed the beautiful handcrafted jewelry created by this Mackinac Island artisan and showcased it on the new site.

Benjamin of Mackinac Island was looking for a way to showcase their unique collection of vintage postcards and books about Mackinac history by Robert E. Benjamin. Mintaka Design set up an ecommerce solution for selling their postcards and books.

Great Turtle Creations published their website to promote their custom wedding stationery and materials featuring the art of Jeannie West.

Wings of Mackinac has a beautiful website with many photos of butterflies featured in this Mackinac Island conservatory. The site is a wonderful educational resource for those interested in lepidoptera.

Maryanke Tour & Travel, Inc. needed a website to market domestic and international tours. Mintaka Design created a site to easily browse upcoming tours and also provided stock photographs to highlight tour destinations around the world.

LV2 Partners, LLC, a Midwest-based equity investment and strategic management firm, launched a site which highlights their success in acquiring and developing exciting new business ventures.

Michigan Outdoor Advertising requested a nostalgic theme using antique postcards to help bring visitors back to the days of enjoyable car travel with fun, informative billboards along the way. Their site is linked with MapQuest to give prospective clients exact locations of available billboards.

Kane Law Firm, P.C. of Colorado Springs wanted a professional site to highlight the expertise and community spirit of their attorneys.

Clients of Hilltop Kennels in Greenwood, Mississippi are so impressed with Tammy Cook's retriever training abilities that they assisted her in developing a website. Beautiful videos illustrate Tammy's training philosophy and love of dogs.

We created this travel website as a personal reminder of a recent trip to China. By integrating our journals and paring down our inventory of 2,000 digital photos to a manageable number, we were able to use the web to share our experiences with friends and family!

The Mackinac Wedding Guide offers a catalog of services for those planning a wedding on the island. Individual services are highlighted with custom slideshows.

Cindy's Riding Stable and Jack's Livery Stable on Mackinac Island wanted their first presence on the web to reflect their relaxed, fun business of providing riding horses to island visitors. We followed the western theme reflected in other marketing materials in designing two sites for them.

The OrrKids Bike Shop site promotes group sales to this long-time Island business and attracts potential summer employees with an on-line application form.

Darrow Bros. Excavating, Inc., a reputable family owned business in Mackinaw City, is beginning their web presence with a simple general information home page.

Liz Wittenberg of Harbor Springs launched her Bella Rae Catering website to advertise her party planning and dinner catering services. Her site will grow as she develops her new business.
