Since 1972, the Little Traverse Conservancy has evolved to become one of the most established and effective regional land trusts in the country. The Conservancy has protected nearly 55,000 acres of land, the equivalent of 84 square miles, and 138 miles of lake or stream frontage in northern Michigan.
Help us support this worthy organization to preserve and protect the beauty and uniqueness of northern Michigan.
The mission of Mackinac Associates is simple and encompassing: “friends preserving and sharing Mackinac’s heritage.” Associates appreciate the rich history and natural beauty of Mackinac and support the efforts of Mackinac State Historic Parks to protect and present to the public these resources at: Colonial Michilimackinac, Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, Fort Mackinac, Historic Downtown Buildings and Mackinac Island State Park.
The Manna Food Project, a local non-profit organization established in 1987, helps feed the hungry throughout northern Michigan. Manna is funded entirely through donations from individuals, the generosity of local community groups and the food distribution operation.
The Mackinac Island Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving and enriching life for residents and visitors of Mackinac Island.
The St. Ignace Area Community Foundation supports many worthy projects in the Straits area. Your gifts to the Foundation create permanent endowments, from which earnings created annually provide positive impact to our community, thus, "For Good, Forever."
